Day 1  USA-Beijing
Board an international flight bound for Beijing. Spend the night aboard as our flight crosses the International Date Line. (For travelers who purchase Air+Land package only)

Day 2  Arrival Beijing
Arrival in Beijing, the capital city of China. Self check-in at the hotel for a good night's rest. (Note: for land-only package travelers, this is your check-in date at the hotel)

Day 3  Beijing (ABF)
With a time-honored history of over 3000 years, this vast metropolis boasts a wealth of cultural and historic treasures. Explore the city’s rich imperial past on a city tour, beginning at the impressive Forbidden City, so-called because it was off-limits to the world for over 500 years. Admire royal artifacts in the on-site Palace Museum and cross the street to the famous Tiananmen Square, or "Gate of Heavenly Peace." Later in the evening , you have the chance to enjoy a sumptuous Peking Duck Banquet at a popular restaurant.

Day 4  Beijing (ABF)
Spend the day free or take the optional tour to visit the Great Wall, which is reputedly one of the man-built architectures that can be seen from the moon. The Great Wall was a massive defensive structure built to keep intruders from invading the mainland. It stretches an impossible 4000 miles across China's north, covering nine provinces. An enormous undertaking that originally began under Qin Shi Huang (the first emperor of China) in 200 B.C., the Great Wall was not completed until the Ming Dynasty in 1640. This morning you have plenty of time to walk along its ancient path and experience part of China's fascinating history.
