Depart Chongqing/Fengdu - 10:00pm:Sail today from picturesque Chongqing.Take a shore excursion to Fengdu,visiting either the "Ghost City",known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill, or the new relocation village,built for families who have moved as a result of the Yangtze's rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam.

Enter the Three Gorges/Daning River"Small
Gorges"/Shiplocks - Enter the Three Gorges,one of nature's most extraordinary sculptures.Qutang Gorge is the shortest(5 miles),narrowest(500 feet),and most dramatic.The 25-mile long Wu Gorge is known for its quiet beauty and forest-covered mountains.Take an excursion through the Daning River Small Gorges,which are narrower than the Three Gorges,but very impressive.(Depending on river conditions,an alternate excursion may be substituted to Shennong Stream,which has its own attractive gorges.)In the evening,sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship locks.

Three Gorges Dam Site /Yichang - Morning visit to the Three Gorges Dam site in Xiling Gorge;it is the largest project of its kind in the world.

|
Wuhan - Afternoon excursion of Wuhan,capital of Hubei Province.visit the Hubei Provincial Museum.

|
Huangshan - Full day shore excursion to Huangshan,one of China's most famous mountain ranges.Travel to this royal retreat through some of the country's most scenic rural areas.(Jiuhuanshan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.)

Nanjing - Visit Nanjing,where you will tour the Sun Yat-sen Memorial and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confusian Temple.
