Itinerary:
Day 01 Bangkok- Angkor Wat
Transfer from hotel to airport to catch the flight to Siem Reap. Welcome to Siem Reap, the capital city of Siem Reap Province in northwestern Cambodia and it is also the gateway to Angkor region. Met by our local guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free at leisure.
Day 02 Angkor (B,L)
Today we encounter the Cambodia's crown jewel, the magnificent Angkor Wat ("Temple that is a City"), which is the most breathtaking and best-preserved of the Khmer temples. The temple complex is the world's largest religious monument. Continue to the fortified city of Angkor Thom and discover the Terrace of Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper Kings, the ruin of Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure, and Phimeanakas. Admire the marvelous murals in the Bayon and watch the sunset over the Cambodian countryside from atop an ancient Angkorian temple.
Day 03 Angkor (B,L,D)
Visit the most romantic of the temples of Angkor, Ta Prohm. Enveloped by jungle foliage, the temple was the only one left in its ruinous state by early archaeologists. This dynamic temple, a favorite for many, looks as it did when the first explorers discovered Angkor in the 19th century. Continue to explore Ta Keo, Chau Say Tevoda, Roluos Group Temples and Les Chantiers Ecole, a vocational handicraft center aimed to preserve traditional Cambodian culture and artisanry. Take a tour of the stone sculpture and woodcarving workshops and watch the artisans at work.
Day 04 Siem Reap - Bangkok (B)
Transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Bangkok.
