Touch down in Beijing and catch a connecting flight to Bangkok, Thailand's capital city. Upon arrival, we will be greeted and transfered to the hotel for rest.

Bangkok is a city of gleaming modernity firmly rooted in ancient Buddhist tradition and beliefs. After breakfast, we visit the Temple of Golden Buddha which is the home to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha statue. A magnificent piece of history not to be missed, the seated Buddha measures 10 feet high, weighs over 5 tons, and is worth an estimated $14m. Stroll through one of Bangkok's largest Flower Markets at Paklong Talat. Then we visit the oldest temple, the Temple of Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho). After enjoying Thai buffet lunch at local restaurant, we have the chance to visit the Gem's Factory & Thai silk. You can choose to enjoy an optional Thai Dinner and classical dance show.

Enjoy the full-day at leisure or join the optional tour The Landmark of Bangkok Tour & Boat Ride along the River of the King. During the tour we visit and admire the royal splendor of the Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha Temple. We then board a motor boat and make our way along the Chaopraya River to our restaurant where we will enjoy our lunch. After lunch we visit the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall (Marble Hall) to admire the "Art of the Kingdom" Exhibition which contains exotic and unique Thai art creating by local artisans. This modern palace blends Western Renaissance architecture with ancient Thai design. (For the Marble Hall visit, sleeveless tops and short skirts are not allowed for women. Men are required to wear pants and shirts with sleeves.)

Today we head to Kanchanaburi to visit War Cemetery and The Bridge over River Kwai. In 1943, thousands of Allied Prisoners of War (POW) and Asian labourers worked on the Death Railway under the imperial Japanese army in order to construct part of the 415 km long Burma-Thailand railway. Today, we have the opportunity to ride on the train from Kachanaburi Station and cross the Bridge on the River Kwai and go along the nature trail on Death Railway to Kasae Cave Station on the wooden bridge. After lunch, we check into hotel and enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure or join our optional tour" Elephant Trekking & Bamboo Rafting with dinner". We visit the famous Elephant Camp to see how talented these elephants are. Experience a close-up encounter with baby elephants and get on elephant's back for a 30 minutes forest trekking . Board on small bamboo rafts and float along the Kwai River. Dinner is served at Elephant Camp.

Day 6 River Kwai-Ayutthaya (ABF)

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Ayutthaya, the former capital city of Siam.Ayutthaya was founded in 1350 and became Thailand’s second capital city. It maintained its position as a major power in the Southeast for 417 years until it was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains, characterized by gigantic monasteries and prang (reliquary towers), showcase the past splendor of the dynasties that once ruled this city. Ayutthaya World Heritage covers the historic ruins covering Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Yai Chaimongkol and some old royal palace situated in Bang Pa in Palace. Return to hotel late in the afternoon. At night, enjoy the optional "Ayutthaya Dinner on the traditional wooden rice barge cruise".

Day 7 Ayutthaya - Tiger Zoo & Crocodile Farm - Pattaya (ABF,L)

After breakfast, we board our bus and head to Pattaya. Situated on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, Pattaya is a popular beach near Bangkok receiving millions of tourists each year. On the way we visit the Tiger Zoo at Sriraja & Crocodile Farm where we can hold a baby tiger, watch ostriches and pig race, crocodile wrestling and an elephant show. Upon arrival in Pattaya we explore the city and take a ride on the "Theme Park - Dark Ride," into a spectacular show of the glittering world of gems. The rest of the day is free at leisure. In the evening, enjoy our optional "Pattaya by Night include Cabaret Show".

Relax at the hotel or take the optional Coral Island Tour with Seafood Lunch. Just a 45 minute boat ride from Pattaya, Coral Island is the most famous of the group of small islands where visitors can relax on the white sandy beach and enjoy water activities such as swimming, snorkeling and diving. Lunch will be served with variety of fresh seafood. After an exciting day trip we meet together and enjoy our farewell dinner served at hotel .

We have a full-day at our own doing some last minute shopping. In the evening, we take the bus to Bangkok International airport to board our homebound flight.
**The flight back to the US departures in the early morning on the next day (Day 11). Your arrival day in the US will be also on the same day.
