Day 1  USA - Bangkok, Thailand

Board our transpacific flight to Bangkok, the starting point of our Thailand Delight journey. *Thailand entry visa is not required for USA passport holders. Day 2  Arrival Bangkok

Touch down in Beijing and catch a connecting flight to Bangkok, Thailand's capital city. Upon arrival, we will be greeted and transferred to the hotel for rest.

Day 3  Bangkok (ABF,L)

After breakfast, we visit Temple of Golden Buddha (Wat Traiimi) which is the home to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha statue. A magnificent piece of history not to be missed, the seated Buddha measures 10 feet high, weighs over 5 tons, and is worth an estimated $14m. Pay a visit to Temple of Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), the largest and oldest Buddhist temple in Bangkok and holds 1000 Buddha images. Lunch is served at Thai Buffet restaurant. Afterwards, we can enjoy the leisure on our own or take the optional excursion "The Landmark of Bangkok Tour" which takes us to visit Grand Palace, Coronation Hall and the famous Temple of Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Continue our journey to Ananta Samakhom Thone Hall which is the centerpiece of Bangkok's own Champs-Élysées, this impressive two-story white marble palace sits at the end of Dusit's long, wide Royal Plaza, a leafy ceremonial boulevard that's often the focus of regal pomp and ceremony during royal celebrations. Our tour ends by visiting Gems Factory and Thai Silk.

Day 4  Bangkok (ABF)

Enjoy the full-day at leisure or join the precisely designed optional tour visiting the National Museum of Royal Barges and Jim Thompson House. Take a boat along the legendary Chao Phraya River and some canals on the Thon Buri side enjoying the most pleasant scenic view of the city.

Day 5  Bangkok - Kanchanaburi (ABF,L)

Experience the local culture of this "City of Angel" with a trip to the Damnern Saduak Floating Market. Board a long-tail boat and glide through the labyrinth of canals or khlongs, filled with flat boats piled high with fresh produce and snacks. Lunch is served at Floating Restaurant. Afternoon, we head to Kanchanaburi and visit the Bridge on River Kwai, War Cemetery. After check-in at the hotel, we can relax at our own or select the optional tour to Tiger Temple. In the evening, we head to the night market.

Day 6  River Kwai (ABF)

Today, we can spend the entire day at leisure or select the optional tour " Jeath War Museum, the Death Railway Bridge on River Kwai, Kasae Cave & Hellfire Pass." In 1943 thousands of Allied Prisoners of War (POW) and Asian labourers worked on the Death Railway under the imperial Japanese army in order to construct part of the 415 km long Burma-Thailand railway. Today, we have the opportunity to ride on the train from Kachanaburi Station and run over on the Bridge on the River Kwai and go along the nature trail on Death Railway to Kasae Cave Station on the wooden bridge.

Day 7  River Kwai - Ayuthaya (ABF)

After breakfast, we take a bus ride to our next destination, Ayuthaya, the former capital city of Siam. Ayutthaya was founded c. 1350 and became Thailand’s second capital city. It maintained its position as a major power in the Southeast for 417 years until it was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains, characterized by gigantic monasteries and prang (reliquary towers), showcase the past splendor of the dynasties that once ruled this city. Ayuthaya World Heritage covers the historic ruins covering Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Wat Yai Chaimongkol and some old royal palace situated in Bang Pa In Palace.

Day 8  Ayuthaya - Pattaya (ABF,L)

Today we are driven to Pattaya, Asian Riviera, after breakfast. On the way, we visit Tiger Zoo at Sriraja & Crocodile Farm where we can hold a baby tiger, watch ostriches and pig race and see the amazing scorpion queen, crocodile wrestling and elephant's show. Upon arrival in Pattaya, we explore the city of Pattaya by visiting Gems Discovery Them Park Dark Ride, which is the only show in the world at Pattaya. Evening, join the optional excursion of "Pattaya by night with Cabaret Show & Seafood dinner."

Day 9  Pattaya (ABF)

Relax at the hotel on our own or select the optional tour of "Coral Island Tour with Seafood Lunch." Coral Island is the best known out of a group of small islands only 45 minutes boat ride west of Pattaya. It is popular with day visitors who want to spend a day on a wide sandy beach, swimming, snorkeling and diving. Lunch will be served with variety of seafood.

Day 10  Pattaya - Bangkok - US (ABF,D)

We have a full-day at our own doing some last minute shopping. Farewell dinner will be served at Savoey Seafood Restaurant. After dinner, we take the bus to Bangkok International airport to board our homebound flight. **The flight back to the US departures in the early morning on the next day (Day 11). Your arrival day in the US will be also on the same day.
